Tanaav Web Series – Season 1
Tanaav is an Indian (Hindi) action thriller streaming series directed by Sudhir Mishra and Sachin Krishna. The series was created and produced by Sameer Nair under the banner of Applause Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. that premiered on SonyLIV on 11 November 2022. This series is an adaptation of the Internationally acclaimed Israeli television series Fauda, developed by Israeli journalist Avi Issacharoff and actor Lior Raz based on their experiences in the Israeli Defense Forces.
The Indian adaptation of the socio-political drama is helmed by National Award-winning director Sudhir Mishra, who has directed films like Dharavi, Main Zinda Hoon, Is Raat Ki Subah Nahi, Chameli, Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi, Khoya Khoya Chanda, and Yeh Saali Zindagi, etc.
The first season mentions Harkat-ul-Mujahideen, Gulf money, and moderate separatists. A special force is sent to Kashmir to keep terrorism under control. The team leader kills the leader of the terrorists. Later it was found that the terrorist leader was still alive and was planning something big to upset the peace in Kashmir.
